Kim Lewis creates images for poetry and other literary texts. She is also the author-illustrator of over 20 picture books for children which have been translated into several languages and sold worldwide.
Kim’s artistic work includes detailed drawings, collages, printmaking, artists’ books and photography for commissioned pamphlets, illustrated book covers, and themed exhibitions. She has collaborated with poets, nature writers, gardeners, publishers, theatre companies and visual artists. Her solo projects and exhibitions cover farming, wild landscapes, collected materials and loved objects. She works from her home studio in Northumberland.
