Flying

A series of wood engravings, drawings and etchings illustrated Linda France’s poems on the theme of birds, taken from Linda’s collection “You Are Her”, a New Writing North’s 'Read Regional' selection launched at the Hexham Book Festival.  The images catch the birds subtly. Nothing more than feathers stand for the whole bird and its remarkable potential. An exhibition of the work toured to Lancaster and Wales.
